My Story

Since July 2019, Rev. Dr. Matt Hoehner has held the position of Executive Director at Christ Community Lutheran School. Prior to this role, Matt was actively involved in the development of a network of schools and afterschool programs in St. Louis. Additionally, he played a significant role in the creation and implementation of the Character Formation Project, which has had a global impact by serving schools and organizations worldwide.

With a pastoral background spanning over two decades, Matt's dedication to his faith and community is evident. He earned his undergraduate degree from Concordia University, River Forest in 1998, and furthered his education at Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, where he attained a Master of Divinity, a Master of Sacred Theology, and a Doctor of Ministry in Cross-Cultural Leadership. During his time at Concordia Seminary, he also served as an adjunct instructor for a period of nine years. Additionally, he served as an adjunct instructor at Concordia University Wisconsin, located in St. Louis.
